Charles Schwab - CIS Launches New “Schweb” Site

Today Charles Schwab Community Investor Services (CIS) launched the newest version of their web site on the Charles Schwab Intranet (“Schweb”). Designed for Schwab employees, the new site is central to promoting and facilitating CIS’s mission within the organization. Working with employees and the Charles Schwab Foundation, CIS supports community involvement by:

• Matching thousands of employees' charitable contributions each year
• Creating hundreds of opportunities for employees and teams to volunteer within their communities
• Forming and promoting Schwab’s strategic relationships with national organizations
• Providing numerous opportunities for employees to participate in community events through the company's charitable sponsorships

Starting in January of 2004, CIS partnered with TrendMedia and Ashton Abeck to deliver the new web site design and supporting technologies.
